Signing an Agreement / Contact with the University
A doctoral student - after having submitted his/her documents and application and having passed the registration procedure signs an agreement (a contract) with the University.
The agreement between the student and the University is concluded once and covers the whole period of the Bachelor are studying of the student in the University.
Accordingly, the tuition fee, mentioned in the agreement on the day of its signing, cannot be reconsidered.
Cases that do not fit into the terms and conditions foreseen by the contract, e. g. taking an academic leave, cessation of the academic process for a long time, are regulated by the corresponding articles of the University Covenant. A student concludes an agreement in the Study Process Management Department.
Cessation of Doctoral Studies (Registration); Termination of the Contract
The day of termination of studies is deemed to be the date, when the University Administration receives the written application from the student concerning the termination of his/her studies. The University shall effectuate termination of the registration of the student and cancel the contract if the student does not cover the corresponding debts to the University.
A doctoral student, who changes his/her mind himself/herself about studying in the University within the first 8 weeks - within the preparative period, shall receive reimbursement in the amount of half of his/her payment, in the case if he/she had paid the full payment for the first academic year.
A doctoral student, who changes his/her mind himself/herself about studying in the University after the first 8 weeks since the start of the studies, i. e. after the preparative period, shall not receive reimbursement in any amount, if he/she had paid only the cost for the first academic year.
The University shall effectuate termination of the registration of the PhD student and in one academic year shall effectuate cancellation of the contract, if the PhD student fails to present the international certificate in GRE, GMAT, or LSAT with the quantity of points preset by the UG Covenant.
