Football Championship

The football team of The University of Georgia  "Peola" competes in the championship between football groups of Tbilisi Universities.

The Center of Social Affairs took part in organization prossesses and founded a fund for the funs of the group "Peopla". With the help of CSA the football team could buy equipment.

The participants of the championship are Georgian-American University, The University of Georgia , Ilia Chavchavadze University, ESM, Medical University and Hawaii University.

On the 20th of March the competition held at the stadium "Irao,"  Two teams met each other The "Peola" and Medical University team. The result is 2:2 and the UG football teem obtained the right to play on the next step of the competition.

On the 22 of March, "Peola" played with football team of Ilia Chavchavadze University. The winner is "Peola" (5:4) The following  meeting will be held the next week.

Women Championship in Mini-Footbll

On the 10-11th of 2007, The University of Georgia held championship between women. The students of Bachelor's  Degree participated in the activity. The students of different bachelor's degree students took part in the competition.

The students were from the first and second courses. The students of The first Course won the competition.
