ADMISSION TO THE DOCTORAL PROGRAMME:
Admission to the PhD programs is administered by the Ph.D. Program Manager. The time for admission to the doctoral programme is not strictly determined. Any person willing to study on a doctoral program at UG an address the PhD Program Manager and register for the program any time of the year, in the second half of the month (15-30). Applicants willing to start the program in spring should take into account the following: there is a two-moth preparation period between the submittal of documents and registration, and the commencement of the program. August is a month off for the university, yet frequently professors are away from the university already in July (they go to conferences, on expeditions, etc.). Hence, if the PhD candidate wants to meet his/her PhD consultant before the start of spring holidays at least once, for examples in the last week of July, the candidate must register for the program not later than the last decade of April.
