The quality assurance office of the University of Georgia ensures that the following is being implemented in the university:

• Implementation of internal and external quality assurance mechanisms
• Evaluation of quality assurance processes
• Ensuring a high level of teaching quality by introducing modern methods of teaching and assessment.

QA office involves academic and administrative staff, invited specialists, researchers, employers and students in the evaluation process for quality assurance.

The Quality Assurance Office exercises its authority on the basis of the normative acts of Georgia, international standards and regulations and the internal regulations of the University in order to achieve the "Plan, Do, Check, Act" (PDCA) cycle.

Based on the above, the QA Office of the University of Georgia carries out:

• Institutional assessment of the university based on internal and external mechanisms;
• Evaluation of programs based on internal and external mechanisms;
• Improvement and implementation of mechanisms for quality assurance;
• Activities aimed at developing academic skills;
• Events to raise awareness of academic integrity;
• Cooperation with international organizations working on quality assurance issues in terms of institutional, program evaluations and/or for the purpose of sharing international experience and modern approaches.
