Meeting with Gela Charkviani

Gela Charkviani is one of the most outstanding figure of modern Georgian history. His biography is remarkably interesting and highly diverse. Charkviani thinksthat years spent in USA had an  important influence over his world outline , '70s period, when youth revolution reached its peak.

In 90’s starts his TV career. Later was the trip to Altanta with the team of Georgian actors, where event “Tbilisoba” was held for immigrants.

Later he was presidential adviser and ambassador of Georgia in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Besides socio-political activities, music is his notable passion. The album of his piano miniatures was released in 2001, also was published contemporary English translation of "King Lear".

 

On Thursday, May 7, Gela Charkviani will share his biographical details, experience and facts from the modern history of Georgia.
