Public Lecture Dedicated to the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo
5 October 2015

The Department of History of the School of Humanities of the University of Georgia will host a special event – public lecture dedicated to the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. Guest speaker - Prof. Ivane Menteshashvili (Ph.D., member of International NapoleonicSociety) will give public lecture on: “13th International Napoleonic Society Congress in Brussels. Endings and Beginnings: The World in 1815”. Special guest: Mr. Jean-Yves Lavoir, Director of the French Institute of Georgia; Cultural Affairs advisor at the French Embassy to Georgia.
