The exchange semester at Linnaeus University in Sweden was a valuable academic and cultural experience. Studying in a foreign environment gave me the opportunity to explore subjects from different perspectives and compare educational systems. The teaching methods at Linnaeus University, based on a practical and student-centered approach, were especially inspiring. The knowledge and skills I gained not only deepened my academic understanding but also became an important part of my international experience and significantly contributed to my professional development.

This experience is not just shaping my dissertation; it’s transforming the way I approach complex topics with a global perspective. Engaging in an international academic environment challenges me to think critically, solve problems creatively, and navigate diverse viewpoints. The skills I’m developing—whether in research, cross-cultural communication, or adaptability—are invaluable, not only for my academic journey but also for my future career.
Studying at Sapienza has been a transformative experience. Engaging with a new academic culture, learning from esteemed professors, and collaborating with international peers has broadened my perspective in ways I never imagined. The exchange has given me the confidence to apply fresh insights to my work. It’s an experience that goes beyond academics - it’s about growth, adaptability, and seeing the world through a different lens.

Tomas Bata University, Czech Republic, Mobility Direct Exchange Program
My exchange semester at Tomas Bata University was an invaluable opportunity—one made possible by the University of Georgia, for which I am deeply grateful. This experience provided me with high-quality education in an international setting, enhancing both my academic and cultural perspectives.
Beyond the classroom, I built lifelong friendships that became a second family, highlighting the importance of global connections. It was also a platform to share my country with others. Many of my peers had limited knowledge of Georgia, and I found great fulfillment in introducing them to its rich history and socio-economic challenges, fostering deeper understanding and awareness.
This exchange was not only an academic pursuit but also a transformative journey of personal and intellectual growth—one that will leave a lasting impact on me.

Polytechnic Institute of Beja, Portugal, Erasmus+ program
The University of Georgia has given me the opportunity to participate in an exchange program for the second time. The first time was at the University of Lodz in Poland, at the Faculty of Management, under the Mobility Direct program. Currently, I am at the Polytechnic University of Beja in Portugal, at the Faculty of Business Management, under the Erasmus+ program.
During exchange programs, you not only develop academically and personally but also gain professional connections. These programs help you get to know yourself and grow as a person. It is fascinating to live in a multicultural environment, which comes with many challenges and experiences. You gain insight into European values and culture.
This is also the greatest charm of exchange programs – a new environment, new people, challenges, and the opportunity to travel. One unforgettable memory of my Erasmus experience will always be my trip to colorful and vibrant Portugal.

Saarland University, Germany, Erasmus+ Program
Hi UG! When I entered the university, my main goal was to give me the opportunity to receive education not only in Georgia, also in abroad. To share foreign culture and their views. UG means opportunities! It was with the support of ‘The University of Georgia’ that I was able to find myself at the Saarland University in Saarbrücken, Germany, through the Erasmus exchange program and gain an unforgettable experience for one semester. I don't know where to start and what important aspect to focus on. The fact , that Erasmus made me many international friends! The fact, that it taught me independence! The fact that it shared foreign culture with me! The fact, that it gave me the opportunity to attend lectures whose lecturers are neither more nor less than Harvard University graduates and lecturers. The fact that it allowed me to represent Georgia to many international nations. The conversation would take us far, so I will stop here. Each student must experience these experiences, feelings, and emotions for themselves!
Thank you, The university of Georgia, for taking me on an unforgettable adventure at an important stage in my life and opening another big door for me to reach my goals.
You! students! believe in your own abilities!
While in Germany, I will symbolically conclude with Goethe’s words:”it is not enough to take steps which may someday lead to a goal. Each step must be itself a goal and a step likewise!”

AP Hogeschool Antwerpen University, Belgium, Erasmus+ Program
As soon as I received a message from the University of Georgia that I had the opportunity to study in Belgium for one semester, I did not miss the chance and here I am getting the most impressive experience of my life. AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts is a place where you can get European, high-quality, practical education and have a diverse student life. Studying in Antwerp, a city I fell in love with, gave me a different perspective on the world and helped me discover a lot about myself. Now I know for sure that I can handle studying abroad or living independently, manage my resources properly and set more goals. I also know that if you really want something and work hard to get it, you will never be disappointed.
I think Erasmus is the best thing that students can do for themselves, because this program brings us closer together as nations, makes us more competent and confident, plays a major role in our professional development, equips us with the necessary skills and knowledge, and makes us rethink why we head towards Europe.
As a student, I am taking advantage of many good opportunities and travelling, visiting museums and pursuing my dreams with minimal expenses. In addition, I introduce our country to people from different parts of the world and learn a lot about them myself. Although studying in Belgium is my biggest achievement so far, it motivates me even more and prepares me for new achievements.
In the end, I would like to thank the University of Georgia wholeheartedly for giving me this opportunity. I am proud of my choice!
