The University of Georgia hosted a public lecture on “The Role of Brazil in the 21st Century”, held by the Ambassador of Brazil to Georgia, H.E. Osvaldo Biato Junior.  The lecture was attended by the students and the academic staff. 

Following the lecture, Mr. Ambassador held a meeting with the Rector of the University of Georgia – Konstantine Topuria.  Future prospects of cooperation between the Embassy and the University were discussed, including the possibility of holding the opening ceremony of the World Portuguese Day celebration at the University of Georgia. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Camões Portuguese Language Center.
