On May 26-30, Maka Sabashvili, Associate Professor at the School of Health Sciences of the University of Georgia, visited a university in Lithuania within the framework of the Erasmus+ academic mobility program. The visit was organized based on the agreement between the Erasmus+ program and the University of Georgia, which included activities aimed at enhancing both educational and academic cooperation.
As part of the program, Maka Sabashvili delivered a lecture on the topic “Epidemiology of Oral Diseases.” The audience included both local and international students. The mobility period also included meetings with professors from the Faculty of Dentistry at Kaunas University, potential partners for international cooperation, seminars, and simulation-based training workshops, as well as a visit to the Kaunas Medical Center.
As a result of the visit, plans were made to deepen future cooperation, including the implementation of joint research projects.
