Gnomon Wise is an independent research institute at the University of Georgia. Our team brings together experienced researchers with diverse qualifications and a shared commitment to democratic values.
We generate in-depth, multifaceted knowledge and ensure its effective dissemination. To support the country’s democratic development, we foster the role of academia and public engagement in public policy, thereby encouraging evidence-based, community-oriented decision-making.
Independently, or in collaboration with local and international experts, we conduct academic and applied research, prepare reports, and produce analytical policy papers. By engaging government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholder groups, we develop policy documents and recommendations. We also organize conferences and discussions to facilitate the exchange of ideas.
