On May 25–28, representatives of the Department of Medicine of the University of Georgia participated in the WFME World Conference 2025, organized by the World Federation for Medical Education and the Institute for Medical Education Accreditation (IMEAc).

The conference was held in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. The main topic of the conference was "Health for All – Through Quality Medical Education". The conference provided a unique opportunity for medical education professionals from around the world to share their knowledge, experience, and ideas, which serves as a foundation for positive changes in medical education in the future. The representatives of the Department of Medicine of the University of Georgia held meetings with interested parties, during which various formats for future collaboration were planned with the aim of improving the quality of teaching and learning.
