The University of Georgia Law School team #UGLS won first place in the finals of the international mediation competition – INADR Mediate ’22 - International Mediation Competition, earning the title of Best Mediator Team.
The INADR International Law School Mediation Tournament is held annually in the US and Europe, featuring law schools from the world's top universities.
The University of Georgia team was represented by Law School students: Papuna Papuashvili, Tamara Kurdadze, and Sopho Kharazishvili. Coaches: Nata Sturua and Ana Khurtsidze.
This time, the University of Georgia team wrote an even more successful chapter of history for the Law School, the University of Georgia, and the country.
As a reminder, the Law School actively provides students with opportunities to participate in as many international legal competitions as possible. Teams are intensively prepared by professionals throughout the year. The hard work and preparation of the students ensure that the school successfully competes in numerous international tournaments.
