On September 11–13, 2024, a commercial mediation training was held through the collaboration of the Law School of the University of Georgia and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Center for Eastern Europe (ADREE). Participants were selected through a competitive selection process.
The training preparation program is based on ten years of successful international experience and includes a training module designed to develop the skills of mediators and parties involved in the mediation process. The training involves participation in simulation sessions to build practical skills and competencies.
The training was led by trainers:
Nata Sturua – Researcher at the Austrian Blockchain Center, lawyer, mediator, Associate Professor at the University of Georgia, Curator of the Mediation Clinic.
Ana Khurtsidze – Mediator, Dean of the Law School at the University of Georgia, member of the UN Global Mediation Panel, President-Elect of the International Academy of Dispute Resolution (INADR, USA).
