On May 15, 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the University of Georgia and the University of Tübingen (Germany), marking a significant step forward in our university's internationalization. This memorandum is the result of years of cooperation between the Institute of Georgian, German, and International Criminal Law at the Law School of the University of Georgia and the Criminal Law Faculty at the University of Tübingen (Prof. Bachana Jishkariani, Prof. Bernd Heinrich, Prof. Jörg Eisele).
Based on the memorandum, joint schools and the further deepening of research relations are planned.
It is worth noting that the University of Tübingen is one of the oldest and top-ranked universities in Europe, and continuing cooperation with them in this format is another important step toward Europeanization.
