Students of the Oriental Studies program at the University of Georgia, who have chosen Turkish as a compulsory language, are currently attending the summer school at Balikesir University in Turkey.
The students have had the valuable opportunity to meet the rector and vice-rectors of Balikesir University. Alongside the educational program, a series of cultural events have been planned, including excursions to Pergamos, Ephesus, and Izmir.
Furthermore, information about the summer school has been actively disseminated in the Turkish media.
