STEAM Festival 2023

 On June 23, UG School of Science and Technology hosted STEAM Festival 2023.

 The aim of the competition was to promote science and technology, including electronic and computer engineering, information and telecommunication technologies, architecture and design art.

Students presented original ideas and projects part of which had been developed at #idealab of UG School of Science and Technology.

 Participating teams exhibited their works and presented their projects in front of the audience and jury members.

 Monetary rewards were given to the chosen ones according to the nominations:

  •  Smart Drone - Giga Gigauri - 1000 GEL;
  •  Smart Doctor - Giorgi Kalichava, Shota Noselidze, Goderdzi Nazarishvili - 1000 GEL;
  •  Aeroponics - Geronti Farsaghashvili, Ilia Nasuashvili - 1000 GEL;
  •  3D Image in Space - Tornike Chokheli - 500 GEL;
  •  Robo Baloon - Dachi Drezheshvili - 300 GEL;
  •  Smart Barrier - Nikoloz Labakhua - 300 GEL.

 Special prizes were given to the pupils of Tbilisi I. Vekua Physics-Mathematical School 42:

  •  Luka Chakhnashvili - Rubber Heat Engine; A Soot Mirror
  •  Mariam Lominashvili - Magnetic-mechanical Oscillator
  •  Nikoloz Burduli - A Magnet in a Copper Pipe
  •  Ani Mamucharashvili - Magnet Gun;
  •  Archil Tsiklauri - Chemical Experiments.
