On November 27–30, 2025, another scientific event of the Institute of Georgian, German, and International Criminal Law of the University of Georgia was held in Istanbul at Bilgi University within the framework of the Turkish-German-Georgian Legal Dialogue. Experts from all three countries participated in the event.
The project was carried out as part of the 15th International Crime and Punishment Film Festival.
The format of the Turkish-German-Georgian Criminal Law Dialogue was established in 2024 on the initiative of the Faculty of Law at Eskişehir Osmangazi University (Dr. Semih Yumak), the Institute of Georgian, German, and International Criminal Law of the University of Georgia (Prof. Bachana Jishkariani), and the Institute of Criminal Law at the University of Cologne (Prof. Martin Wassmer), and several events have already been held within its framework.
Professor Bachana Jishkariani, Head of the Criminal Law Direction, and Rati Akhalaia, Law Lecturer and PhD candidate, participated in the colloquium.
