Vazha Mamiashi - he is a PhD of Archeology. He is the author of 30 scientific publications (both in local and international refereed journals), he is and co-author and 7 monographs. He participated in 25 local, and 10 international conferences. His scientific research priority areas are archaeological research of medieval periods Georgian sites, Christian monuments, and burial structures. He has participated in numerous local and international archaeological expeditions (Nekresi, Dmanisi, Gremi, Mtskheta, Chiatura, Bolnisi, Failaka (Kuwait), and other expeditions), and related international scientific research.
