According to the ELSEVIER Digital Commons Data website, Prof. Saeid Sahmani, a UG faculty member in the School of Science and Technology, was ranked among the top 2% of highly cited researchers in the world.
In accordance with the Google Scholar website, Prof. Saeid Sahmani has published about 130 journal articles with an h-index of 53, having more than 7300 citations, which results in meeting the necessary requirements to enter the list of the 2% of the world’s top scientists in 2021.
It is worth mentioning that the data used in the analysis for selection of top 2% researchers were compiled by Elsevier BV based on a publicly available database of over 100,000 top scientists that provides standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted h-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions, and a composite indicator.
