Accountant

Junior and senior year students, MA students and graduates of the University of Georgia have an opportunity to apply for the position of accountant in one of the companies.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • independently managing the current accounting affairs of the company according to the instructions of the chief accountant and/or manager - performing operations and/or monitoring the performed operations;
  • accounting and control of sales operations of goods and services;
  • Performing and/or monitoring relevant accounting procedures according to the source of salary accrual;
  • accounting of expenses on the relevant accounts;
  • Accounting of bank statements and cash register operations in the accounting program;
  • accounting of loans and interest expenses;
  • Accounting/monitoring of foreign exchange operations, ensuring correctness of foreign currency balances (performing revaluation operations)
  • Accounting of fixed assets (purchase, depreciation, sale)
  • Control of the correctness of receivables and payables balances.
  • Preparation of monthly and annual declarations of the ordering company and ensuring their submission in the appropriate terms;
  • Involvement in the process of preparing pre-agreed reports, reports for the customer;
  • Detailed instruction/training of the subordinate assistant on the given task and monitoring of the tasks/operations performed by them;
  • Discussing the results of the subordinate employee(s) (assistant(s)) with the manager/leadership orally and/or in writing.

 

Main requirements:

  • Higher education in technical or economic direction is mandatory.
  • Must have passed at least one level of ACCA;
  • It is mandatory to know English at B2 level;
  • Knowledge of office and accounting programs is mandatory.
  • At least 1 year of work experience as an accountant.

  • ability to plan and organize;
  • ability to work in a team;
  • high sense of responsibility.

 

Selection stages:

  • Writing session: duration: 40-50 minutes; Topic of written assignment: test of theoretical/practical knowledge in accounting and finance
  • Interview - in case of successful completion of the first stage.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Salary: by agreement;
  • Workplace: st. Tbilisi, Afakidze Street N11 (Tiflis Business Center).
