English Teacher Position at Studio Lingo
Studio Lingo Language School is looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team.
Key Responsibilities

Teaching: Conduct both online and in-person lessons for students aged 17 and above (Lesson duration: 1 hour 30 minutes).

Communication & Reporting: Maintain timely communication with the team (e.g., notifying the administrator about student absences) and occasionally prepare progress reports.

Team Participation: Attend periodic online and in-person team meetings.

Content Creation: Participate in YouTube video recordings and/or short-form video content (approximately once every two months).
Requirements & Qualifications

Age: 22 years or older.

Language Proficiency: C1 level in English; native Georgian speaker.

Teaching Skills: Strong ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.

Personal Qualities: Energetic, organized, highly communicative, and reliable.

Career Alignment: A genuine passion for teaching English, with a vision to grow in this profession long-term (candidates dedicated to an ESL career will be given preference).

Experience & Tech Skills: Prior experience in online or in-person teaching, alongside good tech-savviness.

Camera Confidence: Comfortable and enthusiastic about appearing on camera.

Work Conditions & Schedule

Work Type: Hybrid (online and in-person teaching, media shoots, and team events).

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week). At least 22 hours must fall within the evening slot (19:00 – 22:30); the remaining hours are flexible and agreed upon mutually.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on candidate qualifications. We operate a tiered system (Junior, Middle, and Senior Teacher) reflecting background and experience.

For applicants without prior teaching experience or those missing certain minimum criteria—but showing strong potential—Studio Lingo offers free training at our Teacher Academy. Successful graduates will be offered employment as Junior Teachers.
