Key Responsibilities

Lab Operations Management: Ensure the effective operation of Kutaisi Technopark's laboratories (Robotics & Automation R&D Lab, VR Studio, Drone Lab, Electronics & IoT Lab, AI Devices Lab, STEAM Lab, and FabLab).
Ecosystem & Startup Support: Analyze the needs of innovative hardware startups, entrepreneurs, and users to initiate, plan, and execute tailored programs and services.
Project & Event Management: Initiate, prepare procurement documentation for, and deliver projects and events (trainings, hackathons, workshops, prototyping) across ICT, STEAM, engineering, robotics, AI, and related tech domains.
Technical Learning & Mentorship: Acquire basic knowledge of Arduino and electronics to directly assist lab beneficiaries.
Contractor Supervision: Manage and monitor the activities and performance of contractor companies.
Technical Assistance & Prototyping: Provide technical support and hands-on guidance to FabLab users regarding prototyping and utilizing lab equipment.
Infrastructure & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation, calibration, and upkeep of technical infrastructure, machinery, equipment, and inventory.
Safety & Workplace Standards: Maintain a safe, organized, and highly efficient working environment across all laboratories.
Logistics & Inventory Control: Manage FabLab inventory, supplies, and materials, tracking usage and coordinating timely procurement with internal units.
Service Optimization: Proactively initiate activities aimed at improving laboratory services, establishing operating standards, and enhancing user experience (UX).
Community Engagement & PR: Conduct meetings, presentations, and events to raise awareness and promotion of lab services.
Partnership Building: Collaborate with local and international partners (educational institutions, private sector, tech companies) to initiate joint initiatives.
Data & Reporting: Collect and analyze usage metrics, project performance, and service statistics to prepare periodic reports.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate with other Technopark units and departments for successful cross-functional project execution.
Regional Travel: Conduct site visits to regional Technoparks as needed.
General Support: Perform other related duties necessary for achieving role objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, or a related technical field.
Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English (conversational and written).
IT Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Knowledge of graphic design, industrial design, or 2D/3D modeling software.
Practical experience working with CNC machines and computer-controlled equipment.
Hands-on experience with electronics and hardware integration.
Prior work experience within the technology, startup, or innovation ecosystem.
Experience in customer relations, public presentations, and conducting training sessions/workshops.
