The University of Georgia’s School of Social Sciences Announces an International Competition for Strategic Communications Students
Students of the University of Georgia’s Strategic Communications program will have the opportunity to participate in Ad Venture 2026, a pan-European international student competition organized by edcom (European Institute for Commercial Communications Education).
Participants will work on a real brief from a global brand, put their strategic and critical thinking skills to the test, and, most importantly, have the opportunity to create their own original work.
Following the selection process, four students will be chosen to work with the support of a team of mentors on an international brief for Adobe Premiere Mobile, developing a comprehensive communications and creative campaign.
Throughout the project, students will experience the full campaign development process — from brief analysis and research to identifying audience insights and the Big Idea, and from developing a communications strategy and creative concept to planning platforms and creating visual materials.
The competition will begin in October, while the final projects will be submitted in January–February. Three finalist teams will travel to Lisbon in March, where they will present their ideas to an international jury. The winning team will attend the Cannes Lions Festival in June!
