The TOLES Legal English Centre Georgia at the University of Georgia invites students and legal professionals to enroll in Illuminate Plus, a practical Legal English course designed to strengthen language skills and develop professional expertise in international business and commercial law.
Based on the curriculum developed by TOLES/Cambridge Law Studio, the course covers 10 specialized modules, including contract formation, commercial contract clauses, business liability, contractual warranties, damages for breach of contract, and the structure of commercial agreements.
The course is suitable for learners with B1–B2 English proficiency and helps participants improve their understanding of legal terminology, analyze legal texts, and develop professional communication skills in English. It also supports preparation for all three levels of the TOLES Legal English examination.
Course Details:
Duration: 5 weeks
Sessions: 10 (two per week)
Session length: 2.5 hours
Total: 25 hours
Fee: GEL 900, payable in three installments of GEL 300
The course fee includes one-year access to the Illuminate Plus online learning platform, a TOLES/Cambridge Law Studio certificate, and a University of Georgia certificate upon successful completion. Graduates will also receive a 20% discount on the subsequent Drafting Commercial Contracts in English course.
The course is led by Tsira Chorgoliani, a Master of International Business Law and Legal English lecturer with over five years of teaching experience.
