On June 9–11, 2025, the educational project "Demo Constitution" was held at the University of Georgia, featuring a simulation of drafting a constitution. 11th and 12th-grade students participated in the project, developing mini-constitutions for their imaginary countries.
The aim of the project was to give participants a better understanding of the essence and importance of a constitution, particularly in the context of human rights protection and democracy. Participants also learned about different forms of government, enhanced their critical and analytical thinking skills, worked in teams, and engaged in the full process of creating a document—from concept to visualization and text.
The project was led by Ana Pirtskhalashvili, Professor at the Law School.
The student teams were mentored by Law School students: Keti Avlokhashvili, Ana Kordzakhia, and Ana Odisharia.
At the end of the event, the team of Nikoloz Modebadze, Elene Quliashvili, Duda Kvinikadze, and Ana Berashvili was named the winner.
Second place went to the team of Liza Imedashvili, Andria Chlaidze, and Shako Koberidze.
Nana Gaprinashvili and Andria Chlaidze were named Best Speakers for their outstanding argumentation and communication skills.
