How to ensure the sustainability of evidence-based policies and programs in the face of political volatility

On June 5, the University of Georgia hosted expert panel discussions as part of the International Evaluation Week on how to ensure the sustainability of evidence-based policies and programs in times of political volatility.

The event included two panel discussions, during which experienced experts and practitioners in the field discussed critical challenges facing both the Georgian and international monitoring and evaluation communities today, including:

  • Panel I - How to prepare methodologically high-quality evaluation design and methodology that will turn into a guiding tool for decision-making?
  • Panel II - How to ensure that the findings and recommendations identified as a result of the evaluation are transformed into a prerequisite for the development of programs or policies?

Monitoring and evaluation professionals, representatives of international organizations, academic and research circles participated in the discussions.
