The University of Georgia has officially become the coordinator of the ENHANCE-GSL project.

The ENHANCE-GSL project aims to strengthen the role of universities in Georgia and Sierra Leone in community engagement by developing adaptable and effective strategies for sustainable collaboration with communities.

As the project coordinator, the University of Georgia will lead a consortium of international partners in implementing the project’s objectives.

The initiative will promote knowledge sharing and collaboration among universities, organizations, and experts. It will also support capacity-building processes for sustainable community engagement and oversee the creation of a specialized unit to help universities build and maintain long-term, results-oriented partnerships with their communities.

Through the ENHANCE-GSL project and with the support of its partners, the University of Georgia continues to actively strengthen the connection between academia and society-ensuring the active participation of universities in societal development.
