Orientation Days at the University of Georgia are an important first step for new students as they begin their university journey. The program is designed to help first-year students become familiar with UG’s academic and student environment and make a smooth transition to university life.
During Orientation Days, students will learn about the academic process, administrative and student services, available opportunities, and university facilities. They will also meet university representatives and fellow students and receive essential practical information to help them navigate their first days at UG.
Orientation Days give students the opportunity to get to know their university, prepare for a new stage of their lives, and become actively involved in the UG community from day one.
