Key Functions & Duties
-
Data Collection & Policy Analysis: Gathering, processing, and analyzing data to support the formulation and execution of sustainable energy policies, strategies, and short-, medium-, and long-term action plans.

Monitoring & Reporting: Participating in collecting monitoring data on energy sector plans and programs, analyzing outcomes, and drafting progress/evaluative reports.

Sector Recommendations: Contributing to analytical assessments of the energy sector's current state and formulating actionable recommendations for enhancing sector efficiency.

Energy Balance Analysis: Participating in the analysis of national energy balances and preparing corresponding evaluation reports.

Statistical Processing: Researching, gathering, and processing diverse statistical data related to the energy domain.

Internal Correspondence: Drafting official correspondence and internal communications for other structural units of the Ministry.

Ad-Hoc Directives: Executing tasks defined by Ministry regulations and instructions assigned by leadership within the scope of competence.
Qualification Requirements
Examination & Legal Framework Subject Matter
Candidates will be tested on their knowledge and analytical comprehension of the following legal framework:

Law of Georgia "On Energy and Water Supply".

Resolution No. 3758-II-ს of the Parliament of Georgia (June 24, 2015) "On Main Directions of State Policy in the Energy Sector of Georgia".

Decree No. 70 of the Government of Georgia (February 11, 2016) "On Approval of the Statute of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia".
Selection Process & Application Instructions
Mandatory Uploads via Civil Service Portal:
Evaluation Stages: Candidates will be evaluated through an Oral Task / Practical Assignment and an Interview (testing legal/policy knowledge and analytical skills).

Maximum Total Score: 40 Points (Oral Task: max 20 points; Interview: max 20 points).

Oral Task Threshold: A candidate must score at least 12 points on the Oral Task to proceed to the Interview stage.

Final Qualification Threshold: Candidates scoring below 15 points in the interview will not be considered for appointment.
